Effective Date: 8th October 2025
1. Definitions & Interpretation
“Veritas” refers to Veritas Management Consultancy LLC, registered consultancy firm under Oman’s laws.
“Client” or “You” refers to any person, company, or entity engaging with Veritas for its services.
“Services” refers to all consultancy, audit, tax, and related activities delivered by Veritas.
These terms are governed by Oman Commercial Law and other
Muscat-specific regulations as applicable.
2. Corporate and Reuglatory Compliance
Veritas is registered with the Oman Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) and maintains current Commercial Registration (CR), license renewals, and statutory records for a minimum of 10 years.alalawico+1
The firm complies with Oman’s Commercial Companies Law, labor regulations (mandatory Omani employment quotas), beneficial ownership disclosure (UBO register), and delegated signatory

Engagement & Contracts
Engagement begins upon written Scope of Work or Letter of Engagement countersigned by both parties.
All service contracts comply with Oman Commercial Law, interpreted by Muscat courts (Art. 1–6, ).iromcc+1
For joint instructions or group entities, each instructing party is jointly and severally liable for service charges.saslo
Scope, deliverables, payment terms, and termination rights are defined and prevail over any generic terms.
Service Delivery and Limitations
Veritas exercises reasonable skill, care, and diligence per internationally accepted consultancy standards and the Oman Standard Form of Agreement for consultancy services.apsr+1
The advice is confidential and for client’s exclusive use; responsibility to third parties or indirect damages is excluded unless otherwise agreed in writing.alalawico+1
Veritas does not guarantee a particular result but ensures work is performed lawfully and in good faith.
Fees, Payments & Invoicing
All fees are specified in contract appendices and invoices.
Invoices are payable within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
Additional costs, such as taxes (VAT, withholding), government fees, or regulatory surcharges, are borne by the client.
In case of disputes, only the uncontested portion of fees may be with held; the remainder must be paid on time.
Intellectual Property & Copyright
All content, insights, reports, and deliverables are proprietary to Veritas unless expressly transferred to the client.
No reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is permitted without prior consent.apsr
Third-party IP and data used remain the property of respective owners.
Labor & Employment Law Compliance
Veritas strictly adheres to Oman Labor Law, including working hours, termination, workplace safety, and employment contracts for consultants and staff.lexmundi+2
Clients engaging consultants must ensure compliance with local labor law and visas if on-site work is required.
Data Protection & Confidentiality
Veritas complies with Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL, Royal Decree 6/2022), enforced from February 2026, and all related executive decisions.
Data subjects’ rights, government permit for sensitive data, and explicit consent protocols are strictly applied.pwc+1
All client information is maintained in strict confidence except when legally required or permitted under law.
Data transfers beyond Oman require explicit consent and legally adequate safeguards.
Anti-Money Laundering & Know Your Customer
Client onboarding may require disclosure of beneficial ownership and submission of supporting documents to comply with Anti-Money Laundering Laws and UBO register mandates.setupinoman
Concealment or misrepresentation may lead to termination of engagement or reporting to authorities.
Records & Retention
Veritas maintains all statutory books, engagement contracts, board resolutions, audit reports, and tax filings for at least 10 years in accordance with Oman law.setupinoman
Client records may be requested by relevant authorities in compliance audits or investigations.
Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for breaches arising from acts of God, wars, government action, civil unrest, or any event beyond reasonable control.
Notice of such incidents must be communicated promptly, and parties will work to mitigate disruptions.apsr
Liability & Indemnity
Veritas limits liability to the amount received for the specific engagement, except in cases of fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
No liability for indirect, punitive, or consequential damages unless mandated by Omani law.alalawico
The Client indemnifies Veritas against losses from breach of contract, violation of law, or spurious claims by third parties.
Termination
Engagements may be terminated upon written notice according to contract-specific terms.
Outstanding fees for services rendered remain payable.
On termination, client data will be returned or deleted consistent with legal retention requirements.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Oman and Muscat, under the authority of Muscat courts or other competent forums under Commercial Law.dev-3.sbagh+1
Dispute resolution shall first seek amicable settlement; otherwise, arbitration or litigation is initiated as per contract.
Amendments
Veritas reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Latest version will be posted on the website; changes take effect immediately unless contractually agreed otherwise.
Notices
Any notices or service of documents must be in writing an delivered to the registered address or business email.
Severability
If any clause is held invalid under Omani law, other provisions remain fully effective.
